Did you ever had a security issue related to ProFTPD ? Which version do you use ? Did you checked the fix for the latest security issues ? Last one was fixed in 2 seconds by adding a DenyFilter \*.*/ Of course there are some minor bugs , but which piece of software don't ? We're using it since over almost 2 years without any problems.
