Dear Sir/Madam,
I am trying to download Debian i386 Linux and
create installation CDs. I could download all files successfully and create the
pseudo-image file (a litlle over 600 MB). After renaming it
to binary-i386-1.iso and running RSYNC with the following command
line (single line):
rsync --verbose --progress --stats
--block-size=8192 archive.progeny.com::debian-cd/2.2_rev3/i386/binary-i386-1.iso
.
the process started (including percent indicator),
but when it completed there was an error message saying:
binary-i386-1.iso
666320896 (99%) ERROR: file corruption in binary-i386-1.iso. File changed during transfer? Number of files: 1

total size is 666324992 speedup is 818.57 I did not modify or access in any manner any file
in the folder of the .iso file. I run the operation twice after that, but
I got the same result. There is over 900 MB free space on the disk. Could
you please advise me what to do?
Respectfully,
