I've came across the last two lines in /etc/pam.d/passwd involving the cracklib. I wanted to use it, but it says uncomment the next two lines.
#password required pam_cracklib.so retry=3 minlen=6 difok=3 #password required pam_unix.so use_authtok md5 I'm wondering a few things, what does difok and use_authtok means, and if md5 is there, won't that enable md5 passwords? If so do I need to make new ones? Thanks in advance Calyth
