I updated my libc6 to the latest version and since then there is
something wrong with my timezone configuration:
------------------------------------
12:19:31 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/init.d$ date
Fri Aug 10 14:19:32 SAST 2001
12:19:32 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/init.d$ sudo hwclock
Fri Aug 10 12:20:44 2001 -0.194538 seconds
12:20:14 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/init.d$ sudo hwclock --localtime
Fri Aug 10 12:20:54 2001 -0.972637 seconds
---------------------------------------------------------
The last line (12:20:54) is the correct SAST.

I am also running ntp connected to a local ntp-server. I am not sure
how that which effect this have on the problem.

I then did the following:
--------------------------------
12:41:00 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/init.d$ sudo hwclock -s --localtime
10:41:50 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/init.d$ date
Fri Aug 10 12:42:11 SAST 2001
10:42:11 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/init.d$
-------------------------------
This corrected the system date, but now the bash prompt is wrong. How
do I correct that?
