Hi.. I would like to have xscreensaver run properly in xdm... (so that the screensaver kicks in when their has been no activity at the login prompt) I added this to my ~/xdm/Xsetup file
xset s off xhost +localhost xscreensaver-command -exit xscreensaver -no-splash & The screensaver kicks in fine... but there is a yellow text that appears that says: xscreensaver: couldn't grab keyboard! (AlreadyGrabbed) I can't use the keyboard to stop the screensaver, only the mouse will stop it and take me back to the login prompt... I don't get the error when the xscreensaver kicks in after a user has logged into X Any help on this would be great!!! thanks Mike ~~Bill, Bill who?~~
