Hello; I would like to hear/ listen about recent experience on running a high performance system (for a heavy duty database).
1. Is SMP mature enough in sense of "Mean Time Before Crash" :-)? Or, is a single CPU still saver? 2. Which RAID/SCSI controllers are considered the most stable ones (it does not have to be the most state of the art)?
