slash and burn method: apt-get install bind rename resolv.conf on the bind box to anything you fancy on your workstations add the IP (of the box on which you have installed bind) in resolv.conf at the top disadvantage - if your server goes down then name lookups become slow until the cache builds up again. sam -- (Sam Varghese) http://www.gnubies.com
