Thanks that fixed my problem.
I replaced my .bashrc file with yours. ;-)
I didn't have a /etc_colors file, so I created one.
dircolors -p > /etc/dir_colors
The color aliases wouldn't work in .bashrc for my colors, so I put them in
.bash_profile
Now everything looks pretty.
