I can't remember what happened before the problem happened, but here's the summary of the problem:
dselect (as well as dpkg) won't install or remove any packages. when i try to install or remove any package, an error message "...libgnomeui32 - device not configured." dselect then retries the entire thing, but it would exit with error code 100. what should i do? i checked libgnomeui32 and it's installed. the problem manifests itself even when X-windows isn't enabled. __________________________________ www.edsamail.com
