My /etc/network/interfaces has an auto line for each appropriate interface: auto lo <lo device config> auto eth0 <eth0 device config> There's also a package, netenv, which is supposed to allow you to choose a network configuration at boot time. I've installed it but not yet figured out how to configure it. Seems like a good idea though.... -- Karsten M.
