2.4.5 kernel

        Hello,
i tried to put the 2.4.5 kernel on my debian 2.2r3.

        Here is what i've done :
                make config
                make
                make bzImage

then copy the arch/i386/boot/bzImage to my root directory. I configured
lilo etc etc.
But when i request to start on the new kernel, the PC stucks after drawing
a few dots.

        I tried a few configuration (even the "Oh, i sat on my return
key...") but it always stucks.

Could someone tells me what i've done wrong???
