hi, xucaen, i play mp3's with mpg123. (it's console based.) i've no experience with cd-to-mp3 conversion, but i've seen a post that recommended cdda2wav or cdpanoria for cd-to-wav; then lame for wav-to-mp3. hth. bentley taylor. //
