Yes, I have the tar.gz file version from IBM. I unpacked everything into /Java/IBMJava13, set the environment var JAVA_HOME to /YOUR_INSTAL_DIR/IBMJava13, add /YOUR_INSTAL_DIR/IBMJava13/bin:/YOUR_INSTAL_DIR/IBMJava13/jre/bin to your PATH.
And everything should work OK. Have fun.... I installed the IBMJava2-13 RPM using Alien on my Woody box and it ran fine. It installs the JDK into /opt/IBMJava2-13/ though. -hoeteck -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
