Hi Robert, I could be wrong about this, but I think dhcpcd only works with 2.0.x and 2.4.x kernels. Are you using a 2.4.x kernel? If so you may need to use pump instead of dhcpcd. If you are getting a connection to your network provider then I'll assume that you are using an older kernel and something else is the problem.
