I don't think there is another DTD other than english. Refer to http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/ But the stylesheets should produce headers like, Capitolo 1 for Chapter 1 Disegno 1 ? for Figure 1 and other generated text. The XSL sytlesheets are here to produce HTML, FOP/PDF etc. http://sourceforge.net/projects/docbook/ Also, emacs with psgml point to the correct catalog file (DTD) can make it much easier to find what can legally go where.
