I use grip to get wav files from my CDs and use lame to convert to MP3. You can get the binary of lame from the net. Try www.tucows.com. I have produced a couple of shell scripts to manage my collection of MP3 and to do batch conversions of wav files to MP3 with ID3 Tags. Jose Calhariz --
