-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
I downloaded the source package for 'apt-build' from testing/unstable (don't recall which--same version, anyhow) and built and installed it on my woody/stable system. I have some problems building a lot of packages, however. I successfully built from source and installed (using apt-build) both gnupg and chrony from unstable (I use binaries from stable, sources from unstable). However, a lot of packages I've tried to install give me the error: Sorry, couldn't find XXXXX or XXXXX is already installed (or try to run `apt-get clean') However, it's not installed and it can find it, because "apt-build source autoconf2.13" works (downloads the source), but "apt-build install autoconf2.13" (even if I've already downloaded the source as above) doesn't work! Any thoughts? - -Rob - -- GnuPG key fingerprint = E1E1 AC6A 7B1E 8797 F756 F55B 6A31 43DF 0AD6 5ECF -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+Xo//ajFD3wrWXs8RAkJwAKCm39MMlXfXO7ecSyZ8viVlhslElACgnlf9 1wV/TmYe65t9NGc9ET+Ls8o= =0sSD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
