I recently moved a machine to testing and compiled a 2.4.5 kernel. Now when I ncpmount from our novell file server, file names appear in 8.3 format, rather than the full file name. This is new behavior - falling back to a 2.2.14 kernel got me back to the full file names.
Can anyone suggest how I might find the cause of this problem? I'm using the 2.2.0.18-5 versions of ncpfs and ipx. Mike
