The easiest way is to use Adrian Bunk's set of packages for a 2.4.x kernel on a Debian 2.2r3 system. To run kernel 2.4.x on a Debian 2.2r3 system requires that several packages be upgraded. Check out: http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/kernel-24.html -- Kevin
