Doesn't that suck. Oh well you get what you pay for. :0) i found myself needing to install the > rsh-server software package. I'm using hummingbird to let people log into our development system with telnet. This is on a LAN so I wasn't too concerned with security. Anyway telnet worked so I kept it. If you don't need rlogin telnet at least works. sorry I couldn't be of more help, Andy
