The newer mozilla builds use gtk1.2 and therefore, you should change your system font in the gnome-control-center (gnomecc).
If you don't have access to gnomecc, try to create a ~/.gtkrc in you homefolder
and put something in as following:

fontset="-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal-*-12-*-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1"
}
widget_class "*" style "user-font"
