I installed the ipmasq package rather than using home rolled scripts and the issue remains: the desktop machines cannot access ceertain websites (linuxtoday) nor certain web based update services. The browser just hangs. On the server this is not a problem so I assume it is caused by masqing. Anyone encountered this problem?
