I have been looking for an upgrade of the gcc 2.95.2 compiler in the
potato, and I like to know how to upgrade.
I found some lines for my sources.list file ("deb
http://master.debian.org/~doko gcc/"), but they don't seem to work do i
need some more magic spells :-(
Another thing, does anyone have a good description on how to upgrade the
2.2.x kernel in the potato dist. to a 2.4.x kernel ? I have successfully
installed a new 2.4 version of the modutils, but I am still no able to
resolve symbols while loading modules (after compiling the kernel).
