keymap problem

Hi
i'm usen deb potato and set up keymaps with kbdconfig. i selected
de-latin1-nodeadkeys.
during testing all chars were ok, but after reloading with loadkeys i can't
get the typical german keys (ß,ö etc).

what can i do?
