No AA is a feature that has been built into X recently. QT, the toolkit KDE is based on, can handle this, so you can have AA-fonts in KDE. One drawback, however, ist that at the moment you can either use AA-Fonts or normal Fonts in one application. But this issue is scheduled to be fixed in coming up QT-Versions. Some people also do *not* like AA-fonts at all, so you might be disappointed once you've set it up. You will have to decide on your own... Matthias
