Hey! I have exactly the same problem! I wanted to switch from Suse 6.0 to Potato but even with the same configuration files, it didn't work on Debian, even though it works on Suse. I am using 2.2.19 on Debian, and 2.2.13 on Suse, but the symptoms are the same if i use 2.2.13 on Debian too. I get (in syslog): ipppd[582]: sent [0][LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1500> <magic 0x51714c38> <pcomp> <accomp>] ipppd[398]: LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests The FAQ says, that the ConfReq id=0x1 errors are if "auth" is enabled by mistake - but it's not in my configuration, nowhere - even setting "noauth" doesn't help. bye Xandi - -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] - Alexander Feder - Vienna/Austria personal: http://members.blackbox.net/xandi/ project: http://www.3Dsia.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjsS0WIACgkQTLzBG5DBimpJlwCgiEDYqWSVzBNC5I1Q3Wqt/nlS pm4AnjdqiZdT7/8V2H1OoHSm/a+XCtmY =xCCk -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
