no, afaik I only use dia from gnome .. which is excelllent but (obviously) didnt ask me to install all the gnome stuff. I use a hacked up blackbox (ongoing plaything of mine) as WM .. boots in some fraction of a second and is very fast to work it.. > > Compiling from source may not be any better. I never have desktop sounds enabled..
