Bertrand Meyer, Object-Oriented Software Construction 2nd Ed., is a very thorough text on OOP, focusing on the concepts (yes, Meyer is the inventor of Eiffel, but Eiffel is mentioned just once in this text). http://www.noamazon.com is your friend.
