Doing same. Galeon's running with about 17 tabs open. I'm starting to cut into swap. OK, when system "find"s start running from cron, things start to bog down a bit. Just out of curiosity, why do you only have 64 M on the box? Memory's cheap, and even old-style DIMMS aren't too bad if you're looking to go to 96-128MB worth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 02:44:48 up 14 min, 5 users, load average: 2.08, 1.53, 0.87 102 processes: 100 sleeping, 2 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped CPU states: 1.4% user, 6.7% system, 0.2% nice, 91.7% idle Mem: 63228K total, 61784K used, 1444K free, 2540K buffers Swap: 497972K total, 91888K used, 406084K free, 20388K cached PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND 661 karsten 4 0 46384 23M 12188 S 0.9 38.8 0:34 galeon-bin 671 karsten 0 0 46384 23M 12188 S 0.0 38.8 0:00 galeon-bin 672 karsten 1 0 46384 23M 12188 S 0.3 38.8 0:00 galeon-bin 673 karsten 0 0 46384 23M 12188 S 0.0 38.8 0:00 galeon-bin 1325 karsten 0 0 46384 23M 12188 S 0.0 38.8 0:00 galeon-bin 412 root -7 -10 41924 7208 2020 S < 0.1 11.4 0:19 XFree86 423 root 0 0 3900 3900 3776 S 0.0 6.1 0:00 ntpd ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cheers. -- Karsten M.
