hi, anyone managed to compile php4.05 for i386 on potato? due to some bugs in potato's php 4.03 with postgres i'm trying to compile 4.05 on potato.
changes to the sid sources: --without-curl --without-mcal --without-sybase --without-sablot --with-pgsql binary-indep compiles fine but when i try to compile binary-arch (i386) i get the following errors: dh_gencontrol -a dpkg-gencontrol: warning: unknown substitution variable ${shlibs:Depends} dpkg-gencontrol: warning: unknown substitution variable ${shlibs:Depends} dpkg-gencontrol: warning: unknown substitution variable ${shlibs:Depends} dpkg-gencontrol: warning: unknown substitution variable ${shlibs:Depends} dh_md5sums -a dh_builddeb -a dpkg-deb: building package `php4' in `../php4_4.0.5-2_i386.deb'. dpkg-deb: parse error, in file `debian/php4-curl/DEBIAN/control' near line 6 package `php4-curl': `Depends' field, missing package name, or garbage where package name expected dh_builddeb: command returned error code make: *** [binary-arch] Error 1 even if i do a rm -rf php4-curl* prior to dh_builddeb it creates the php4-curl files. i tried changing the module= line to the ones i want to compile but this causes even more errors. i can't find why binary-arch still wants to create the curl, mcal, sablot and sybase stuff tough i explicitely want it without them. any ideas what's wrong? tia martin -- GnuPG 1024D/3E8DCCC0 30DC 1D28 1D79 32F5 5E67 3ABB 28EE B35A 3E8D CCC0 work: factline Krisper Fabro Harnoncourt OEG (www.factline.com)
