I finally managed to build XFree86 from source. Question now is how do I enable the X video extensions? I get the following when I type "xvinfo":
alpha:~$ xvinfo X-Video Extension version 2.2 screen #0 no adaptors present I'm using a card that works with the "savage_drv.o" module.
