I have installed the alsa-driver for ens1371 (Soundblaster 128 PCI) on Debian/unstable with kernel 2.4.3. Further I use my Elsa Erazor (Riva TNT2) with XFree86-4.0.2, the nvidia driver, and NVIDIA's NVdriver and their GLX module. Whenever I hear music (with xmms) and start an OpenGL application the sound gets extremely ugly. One time it even froze my X session so that I had to restart X.
