In my two years of using Linux, I've only compiled the kernel, and extra ethernet modules that were needed for PPC. I haven't compiled any apps for myself yet, and wouldn't be comfortable with releasing my compiled binaries without more successful experience. After that, I'll look into becoming a maintainer, and after learning more C. ;) Mike
