Hello folks,

sendmail got updated recently in woody and is now causing me all kinds
of headaches.

There's a crontab entry in /etc/cron.d/sendmail, which runs
`/etc/init.d/sendmail cron-mta` exactly every 10 minutes on my machine:

        */10 * * * *           mail    /etc/init.d/sendmail cron-msp

As far as I can see, it only does a DNS request. I haven't snooped on
the connection, but this is what isdnctrl will tell me on my ISDN
router. Unfortunately this means, that I'll dial-on-demand every ten
minutes, which, I'm afraid, will show up terribly on my next phone bill.

I have commented out that line, and it seems that everything works
fine. I only use sendmail for fetchmail and don't use within my home
network.

Is there anything wrong with having this line commented out?

TIA,
Viktor
