When I first log into Xwindows, I can use the mouse in Midnight Commander to select files. After I've been logged in for a while, perhaps even an hour, I no longer can use my mouse. Originally I thought this was a problem of not having GPM installed, so I installed it, but it doesn't make any difference.
I also notice this behavior with slrn and vim, even though I have mouse enabled settings on. any suggestions? thanks)
