dpkg 1.9.0 will be coming out real soon now (a couple of days), and promises to fix these segfaults, not to mention an enormous amount of other stuff. (It has one of the longest changelogs I've ever seen outside X.) -- Colin Watson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
