I fixed it. This is for the record: If you run into this kind of problem and feel kind of desperate, type "man mke2fs" and scroll down to the -S option. It might work. Consider sacrificing an old hdd, some obsolete RAM, or at least a mouse to the gods before trying this. Run fsck afterwards. -- Philipp Lehman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
