I believe you're thinking of the Aegis cruisers which do have NT systems on board, but those systems have nothing to do with fire control. Sometimes these cruisers are referred to as the "Ticonderoga" class. The Aegis cruisers aren't nuclear powered; they're gas turbine powered. They do have the capability to carry nuclear tomahawk cruise missiles.
