I'm in a situation where I need to do some keymapping. This is what I need to accomplish.
1. This is for console only. X is not installed on the machine. 2. A few keys (like the up and down arrow keys, the < and > keys, and a few other) need to work normally. 3. All other keys need to be disabled, or mapped to something useless like ~. 4. If possible, I'd like "," to be mapped to "<" (so a user could type a < without using the shift key"), and the same with "." to ">". 5. If possible, I'd like this keymapping to affect only tty1. If that's not possible, then I'll survive by having this mapping only take affect on a particular runlevel. Any points to basic keymapping instructions, or any other suggestions, would be appreciated. -- Craig McPherson Baptist Student Union http://www.bsu-hog.org/
