Hello: I am somewhat very new to Debain, and I am having problems with install process. I am installing 2.2 potato from CD, I have tried the vanilla and compact version. After I mount:
hdd1 =ext2 ~24mb hda5 =ext2 ~4gb hda6 =swap ~128mb I select the option to install the OS/kernal, I keep on getting path not found. I believe it says /install? root.bin not found. I have searched google and read http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/install.en.txt and it really doesn't help.
