Hello all, I am trying to use a quantum DLT8000 tape drive with my debian system. It seems to write 96K and then hangs. I see a bunch of input/output errrors . Has anybody had any luck with Quantum DLT8000 tape drives, or using Legato with Debian?
The drive is scsi attached and using the default /dev/nst0 device. I am running Debian 2.2 (potato) with kernel 2.2.19. Is there any special drivers/modules/configurations needed with Quantum DLT8000? Any ideas? Thanks, ---Dean.
