Ahhh...I'm running Woody as well. I inserted the following line into my sources.list file, allowing me to install Potato's lilo. deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian potato main contrib non-free I was told that occasionlly packages are held back in Woody. Lilo being one of them. I am almost positive (someone want to back me?) that the order you specify in sources.list allows you to set the most preffered source first. (Yes see 'man sources.list' 2nd Para.) Mark Hurley
