i'm in love with the 'birthday' app ... you make a ~/.birthday file,
and put birthdays or events in there. i then stuck it in my .login,
so i'm reminded every day for three weeks before the birthday/event
that something is coming up. i feel like i'm cheating, but i remember
birthdays now! :)
