When I do:
hdparm -d1 /dev/hda The message is: HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted.Does anybody have any suggesstions why? The same hardware worked with DMA under Linux on Mandrake 7.0 (LX chipset + Maxtor disk drive)
