Has anyone used a usb mouse in kernel 2.4? I'm running Woody and finally got 2.4 running, hoping for its advantages. I can't seem to get gpm to recognize the mouse.
I found a page that recommends: mknod /dev/mice c 13 63 And I also tried: mknod /dev/input/mouse0 c 180 16 ...as a test, based on devices.txt in the kernel tarball. My /proc/devices contains: Character devices: 1 mem 2 pty 3 ttyp 4 ttyS 5 cua 6 lp 7 vcs 10 misc 13 input 14 sound 108 ppp 128 ptm 136 pts 162 raw 180 usb 195 nvidia Block devices: 2 fd 3 ide0 7 loop 22 ide1 Ideas?
