Try /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf and add it to the [servers] line: 0=/usr/bin/X11/X -nolisten tcp -- LINUX~~nobody owns it~~everybody can use it~~anybody can improve it ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
