add: subscribe debian-user@lists.debian.org to your ~/.muttrc and make sure mutt knows what your correct email address is, if it does not add: set use_from set [EMAIL PROTECTED] then when you send mail to a `subscribed' list mutt will add a Mail-Followup-To: header including only the list's address. mutt and a few other mailers will honor this and only send mail to the list and not CC you even if group reply is used. (but everyone should use list-reply when replying to lists, unfortunatly many mailers are lame and don't include that function) adding a Mail-Copies-To: nobody header can help catch a few more mailers. i do that like so: send-hook '~l' 'my_hdr Mail-Copies-To: nobody' send-hook '!~l' 'unmy_hdr Mail-Copies-To:' this helps quite a bit, but not enough since so many mailers don't bother to pay any attention to either of these, or provide a list-reply function, that leaves the user to have to manually edit the CC and To feilds to remove addresses to comply with netiquite, very few users bother to do this.
