I haven´t followed the whole thread and it´s not yet in the archives, so pls excuse for re-runs... Try putting your disk-geometry (the real one, your BIOS may have other limitations) in an append-statement like image=/boot/bzImage.brenner label=linux read-only append="hda=49585,16,63" Set in the BIOS whatever it´s capable of, it only has to access the MBR and whereever your /boot is anyway. Re-run lilo, reboot... This is how I solved the "LI..."-problem here. cheers, &rw -- / Ing.
