someone mentioned this the other day on -powerpc, they were able to solve it by running mandb --create. it would seem to be a bug, but i have not looked into it. perhaps it only occurs on powerpc, as i think if it were on x86 too we would be seeing 50 posts a day about it here ;-) -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
