You most probably wouldn't notice, but there would be an overhead. After the 
second access however, the link lookup would be cached and very fast.

Be aware though that QT doesn't like to be shoved around. It _must_ be 
reachable at the location it was first installed/compiled, be it through a 
link or directly.
